At Wrestlemania 37, Ripley defeated Asuka to win the RAW Women’s Championship. On the Monday Night RAW episode after WrestleMania, Ripley was scheduled to defend the title in a rematch against Asuka. The match ended in a no-contest after interference from Charlotte Flair, who attacked both Asuka and Ripley. At WrestleMania Backlash, Ripley successfully faced Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match.
A match between Ripley and Flair was then scheduled for Hell in a Cell. Flair defeated Ripley by disqualification at Hell in a Cell, allowing Ripley retained her title. Ripley dropped the title however to Charlotte Flair at Money in the Bank in another rematch. Her reign lasted 98 days. She failed to regain the Raw Women’s title in a triple threat match against the champion Nikki A.S.H and Flair at SummerSlam.
Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. Team Up & Win Gold
In the following weeks after SummerSlam, Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. allied and became a tag team. Together, they defeated Tamina and Natalya on the September 20 episode of Monday Night RAW. Their reign as tag team champions ended on November 22nd when they were defeated by the team of Carmella and Queen Zelina. Their reign lasted 63 days.
Ripley and Nikki A.S.H.’s partnership ended on the January 10th episode of RAW when A.S.H attacked Ripley. Two months later on March 7’s RAW, Ripley teamed with Liv Morgan to defeat Zelina and Carmella, adding them to the Women’s Tag Team Championship triple threat match at WrestleMania 38 and making it a fatal four-way match. On the second night of the event, they failed to win the titles.
On the April 18 episode of RAW, Ripley and Morgan faced the champions Sasha Banks and Naomi for the titles, but lost. After the match, Ripley attacked Morgan thus ending their partnership and turning heel in the process.
Rhea Ripley Joins The Judgement Day
At WrestleMania Backlash, Ripley was revealed as a member of The Judgment Day by costing AJ Styles his match against Edge. At Hell in a Cell on June 5th, The Judgment Day defeated Styles, Finn Bálor, and Liv Morgan in a six-person mixed tag team match.
The next night on RAW, Edge introduced Bálor as the newest member of The Judgment Day. Bálor, Priest, and Ripley suddenly attacked Edge, kicking him out of the stable. She was scheduled to face Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank for the Raw Women’s Championship. Due to suffering a brain injury, Ripley was pulled from the match and replaced by Carmella.
Judgment Day feuded with the Mysterios which resulted in a match at Clash at the Castle where Balor and Priest lost to Rey and Edge. After the match, Dominik attacked Edge and Rey, turning heel and joining The Judgment Day. As part of The Judgment Day, Dominik adopted a gimmick mirroring Eddie Guerrero’s Latino Heat together with Ripley. Ripley began calling herself Dominik’s “Mami”. On October 8th at Extreme Rules, Dominik, Priest, and Ripley helped Bálor defeat Edge in an “I Quit” match. After the match, Ripley attacked Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, with a con-chair-to.
At Crown Jewel, Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, and Dominik defeated The O.C. (Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson) in a six-man tag team match after interference from Ripley. On the following episode of RAW, The O.C. introduced the returning Mia Yim as their solution to counter Ripley. On the next RAW, Ripley temporarily allied herself with Damage CTRL in the leadup to Survivor Series, after Yim had joined the opposing team. Two weeks later at Survivor Series WarGames in November, Ripley’s team lost after Becky Lynch pinned Dakota Kai in the women’s WarGames match. Two days later, The Judgment Day defeated The O.C. in an eight-person mixed tag team match to end their feud.
Rhea Ripley Wins Royal Rumble 2023
At the Royal Rumble 2023, Ripley appeared at ringside during the men’s Royal Rumble match to assist her stablemates in their attack on Edge. Later that night, Ripley won the women’s Royal Rumble match from the #1 spot by last eliminating Liv Morgan, who entered the match as #2. With her victory, Ripley became the fourth wrestler and the first woman to win the Royal Rumble as the first entrant. She also spent the longest time in a women’s Royal Rumble match at 1:01:08.
On the following episode of RAW, Ripley declared that she would challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39. On Night 1 of WrestleMania 39, Ripley defeated Flair to win the title in a critically acclaimed match.
Ripley successfully defended her title in her first title defense at BackLash against the Latino World Order’s Zelina Vega. At Night of Champions, Ripley successfully defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Natalya in a squash match that lasted just 70 seconds. On June 12th episode of RAW, the SmackDown Women’s Championship was renamed to the Women’s World Championship and Ripley was presented a brand-new championship belt.
At Payback in September, Ripley helped Bálor and Priest win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship after spearing Kevin Owens through the barricade. Later that night, Ripley retained her title against Raquel Rodriguez after a distraction from Dominik. At Crown Jewel in November, Ripley defeated Nia Jax, Rodriguez, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler, who Ripley pinned, to retain her title in a fatal five-way match. Ripley defeated Zoey Stark to retain her title at Survivor Games. At Day 1 on January 1st 2024, Ripley defeated Ivy Nile to retain her title.
On February 24 at Elimination Chamber: Perth in her home country of Australia, Ripley successfully defended her title in the main event against Nia Jax. On Night 1 of WrestleMania XL on 6 April, Ripley successfully defended her title against Becky Lynch,
Ripley’s Injury
On the April 8th episode of RAW, Ripley was attacked in a backstage segment by Liv Morgan. As a result, Ripley suffered an injury to her right arm. The following week, she was forced to vacate the championship. Her reign lasted 380 days.
